Sending a bug report
The more exact the report, the faster we can find the fault. Please include:
- Your phone model.
- Your operating system version.
- The app version.
- What you were doing, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot, if it shows the problem.
Before you send a screenshot, check that it does not show case details, other people's personal information, or anything confidential to your employer.
Common questions
Where are my records stored?
On your phone. Metis Dynamics has no server that holds them, so we cannot look them up or restore them for you.
How do I keep a backup?
Turn on backup to your own iCloud or Google Drive. If you replace or reset your phone without a backup, records stored only on that phone are lost.
Do I need an account?
No. The app works without one.
Does the app track my location?
No. Mileage comes from the odometer readings you enter.
How does the free trial work?
You can try Timekeeper free for 30 days, then choose a plan. The trial applies to the monthly and yearly plans. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment with no trial attached.
How do I cancel or change a plan?
Plans are managed by the store you bought from. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions.
What happens to my records if my plan ends?
You are never locked out of the records you already made.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, and refunds are requested through them. On iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, use your order history in Google Play.
Can my employer see my records?
No. Timekeeper is for individuals and has no employer dashboard. Your employer sees only what you choose to send.
Does Timekeeper replace my employer's timekeeping system?
No. It is your personal record. Your employer's official records and policies still apply.
Can I turn off crash reports?
Yes. Crash reports are on by default, contain technical data only, and can be turned off in the app.
